Brachioradialis
O- proximal part of lateral supracondylar ridge of humerus and adjacent inter muscular septum
I- lateral surface of radius above styloid process
I- radila nerve C5,C6
A- flexes the elbow when forearm is in mid prone
returns forearm from full supination or full pronation
Acts as a fixture for many of the movements in the hand
Extensor Carpi Radialis Longus

I- attach by 4 tendons to bases of middle and vital phalanges of each finger

A- extension of the MCP joint of each finger
Extensor Digiti Minimi
O- lateral epicondyle of the humerus and adjacent inter muscular spetum
I- dorsal Digital expansion of digit 5

A- extension of MCP joint of little finger

Extensor Carpi Ulnaris
O-lateral epicondyle of the humerus and posterior border of the ulna
I- tubercle off the base f the medial side of metacarpal 5

A- extends and adducts the wrist
Supinator
O- superficial part –? lateral epicondyle of humerus
radial collateral and angular ligaments
deep part –> supinator crest of the ulna
I- lateral surface of radius superior to the anterior oblique line

A- supinates the forearm
Abductor Pollicis Longus
O- posterior surfaces of ulna and radius and interosseous membrane
I- radial side of base of thumb (metacarpal 1)
I- posterior interosseous nerve C7,C8
A- accessory extensor of the thumb
extension and abduction at 1st carpometacarpal joint
assist abduction at wrist
Extensor Pollicis Longus
O- posterior surface of middle 1/3 of ulna and interosseous membrane
I- distal surface of base of distal phalanx of thumb
I- pisoteio interosseous nerve C7,C8
A- extension of the thumb
Extensor Pollicis Brevis
O- posterior surface of the radius and interosseous membrane
I- radial side of base of proximal phalanx of the thumb
I- posterior interosseous nerve C7,C8
A- extends metacarpal phalangeal joint of the thumb and metacarpophalangeal joint
