Q

Tendo calcaneus communis

A
  • 3 main tendond:
    > Tendo m. gastrocnemii (name muscle)
    > Tendo plantaris (name muscle)
    > Tendo acceccorius (3 muscles, name them)
  • As tendo plantaris widens, forms galea calcanea

A: Strongest extensor of tarsus

Q

M. flex. dig. superf.

A

O: Fossa supracondylaris (femur), partly fused w/ M. gastrocnemius caput lat.

I: ~ Tendo plantaris turns from med. to lat. direction around tendo calcaneus communis.
~ On the surface of tuber calcanei it makes a cap (galea calcanea).
~ Then finally attaches to digits II-V as manica flexoria (plantar surface)

A: Flex stifle, extends tarsus (hock), flex joints of digits II-V

Q

M. flex. dig. prof.

A

O:
> M. flex. dig. lat. - prox. caud. half of fibula, caudolateral border of tibia, and from interosseus membrane
> M. flex. dig. med. - Caudo-proximally from tibia

!!They unite below tarsus!!

I: Tuberculum flexorium of digits II-V, plantar surface (and digit I, if present?)

A: Extends tarsus, flex joints of digits II-V (and digit I, if present?)
