Biceps Bracchi
M - A two headed muscle in the anterior arm which crosses the GH joint and elbow joint.

- Short Head - Apex of the Coracoid process of the scapula
- Long head - Supraglenoid tubercle of the scapula above glenoid cavity.
I - Radial tuberosity of the radius and deep fascia of the forearm
N - Musculocutaeneous nerve
A - Flexion and supination at th eelbow
Flexor at the GH joint
Erector spinae
M - Long muscle spanning the length of the spine divided into 3 parts
Spinalis - most medial of the muscle groups
Longissimus - intermediate
Iliocostalis - most lateral

N - All supplied by the braches of the posterior Rami of cervical thorasic and lumbar spinal nerves
LATTS
M - Large and thin, covers almost all of the back muscles at the posterior trunk except the trapezius
O - inferior angle of scapula, Ribs 9-12, posteror crest of ilium, spinous processes of T7-T12 and thoracolumbar fascia
I - Intertubercular sulcus of the humerus
N - Thoracodorsal nerve
A - Internal rotations, adduction anf extension of the arm.
TRAPEZIUS
M - Large triangular paired muscle located on posterior aspect of neck and thorax
O - medial nuchal line of the occipital bone and occipital protuberance down to the spinous processes and supraspinous ligaments of vertebrae T1-T12
I - Lateral third of the clavicle, medial acromial margian and the superior crest of spine of scapula. medail end of scapula spine.
N - Accessory nerve and anterior rami
A - Elevation, Depression and retraction of the Scapula
PEC MAJOR
M - Paired superficial muscle on anterior thorasic cage (made up of the clavicular, sternocostal and abdominal part)
O -
Clavicular - anterior medial half of clavicle
Sternocostal - sternum, costal cartilidge of ribs 1-6
Abdominal - anterior rectus sheath
I - crest of greater tubercle of humerus
N - Lateral and medial pectoral nerves
A - arm adduction, int rotation, flexion extension, draws scapula anteriorly and inferiorly
TERES MINOR
O - Lateral border of scapula
I - Greater tubercle of humerus
N - Axillary nerve
A - External rotation and adduction of the arm at GHJ, Stabilisation
SUBSCAPULARIS
O - Medial two thirds of the subscapular fossa
I - Lesser tubercle of humerus
N - Upper and lower Subscapular nerves
A -Internal roation of the arm, Stabilsiation
INFRASPINATUS
O - Infranspinous fossa of scpaula
I - Greater tubercle of humerus
N - Subscapular nerve
A - External rotation of the arm at the GHJ, Stabilisation of the humeral head in the glenoid cavity
SUPRASPINATUS
O - Supraspinatus Fossa
I - Greater tubercle of humerus
N - Suprascapular nerve
A - Inital abduction of the arm and stabilisation of the humeral head in the glenoid cavity
TRICEPS
M - A three headed muscle on the posterior aspect of the arm

Long - infraglenoid tubercle of scapula
Medial - posterior humerus inferior to radial groove
Lateral - Posterior humerus superior to radial groove
I - Olecranon of ulna and fascia of forearm
N - Radial Nerve

Elbow - extension of forearm
Shoulder - extension and adduction of arm long head
STERNOMASTOID
M - Two headed, Thick and strap like runs superiorly
O - sternal head superior Manubrium and clavicular medial third of the clavicle
I - lateral Mastoid process of the temporal bone and the lateral superior nuchal line of occipital.
N - Accesory nerve
A - Contralateral cervical rotation and flexion.
Bilateral - head neck extension, neck flexion, elevation of clavicle and manubrium.
POSTERIOR DELTOID
M - Thick triangular shoulder muscle with a wide origin.
O - Spine of scapula
I - Deltoid tuberosity of the humerus
N - Axilllary Nerve
A - Extension and extrenal rotation of the arm
ANTERIOR DELTOID
M - Thick triangular shoulder muscle with a wide origin.
O - Lateral 1/3 of clavicle (clavicular part)
I - Deltoid tuberosity of humerus
N - Axillary nerve
A - Flexion and internal rotation of the arm.
LATERAL DELTOID
M - Thick triangular shoulder muscle with a wide origin.
O - Acromion (acormial part)
I - Deltoid tuberosity of the humerus
N - Axillary nerve
A - Abducts the arm beyond the intial 30 degrees after subscapularis
RECTUS ABDOMINIS
M - long muscle of the anterior abdominal wall
O - Pubic symphysis, Pubic crest
I - Xiphoid process, Costal cartilidge of ribs 5-7
N - Intercostal nerves and subcostal nerves
A- Trunk flexion, compression of abdominal viscera, expiration
SERRATUS ANTERIOR
M - Fan shaped muscle in the lateral wall of the thorax
O - Ribs 1- 8/9 Sometimes 10th
I - Anterior surface of the superior angle medial border and inferior angle of scapula
N - Long thorasic nerves
A - Draws scapula anterolaterally, suspends on the thorasic wall and draws the inferior angle laterally during scapulohumeral rhythm
