TOS: Training Objective Statement
- Describes the skill and knowledge to be learned by the individual

NTSP: Navy Training System Plan
- Documents that communicate manpower, personnel, and training requirements needed in support of new acquisition and/or modernization programs.

- A representable and dependable job analysis process of developing or revising training content development or revision in order to satisfy fleet training requirement

Define: A targeted JDTA
JDTA: Job Duty Task Analysis
- Performed on specific portions of a course. Directed by CCA when insufficient course data exists to support a TRR. A mishap occurs during training, training that requires immediate action, or when directed by higher authority.

Evaluation: The surveillance, evaluation, change, and revision of the training materials based on assessment of the training materials and the performance of the graduates in the fleet

Stage 5: Begins after the incorporation of the results of the pilot course (red-line) into smooth curriculum and management materials, and ends with the CCA’s letter of promulgation that approves the material for use in support of Navy training.
