Alternatively, the Design-Builder may elect to utilize the existing signals fire alarm system provided that it can be expanded to meet the requirements of this section without resulting in an impairment to existing signals areas that must be protected during construction
For new signals areas located within the stations under the Contract what should be done ?
connect the new signals fire alarm system to the existing station FACP for monitoring at the agent booth location
What are some actions required to be done on new signals areas

this will be done using signal modules on a room by room basis

What is the only thing that the FA panels for the signal room should protect
it should only protect signal related rooms
What is a clean agent ?
A clean agent is a fire extinguishing agent that is volatile, gaseous, or electrically non-conductive. It does not leave a residue when it evaporates.

How will the signal alarm panel show the status of its alarms and what will these statuses be
The signal alarm panel will use LED indicators to show the statuses of alarm, normal and reverse status, abort active and zone discharge state
