Valgus = knock knees (more pressure laterally) Varus = bow legged (more pressure medially)
What is ankylosing spondylitis and what joints does it effect?
Chronic inflammatory condition of spine and sacroiliac joints
Causes eventual fusion of the joints
What antibiotics predispose to tendonitis (including Achilles tendonitis)?
Quinolone
Which nerve is most likely to be affected during an anterior shoulder dislocation?
Axillary
What is osteochondritis dissecans and what are the most common sites?
Separation of bone and cartilage within a joint
Most common: medial femoral condyle, talar dome, femoral head, humeral capitellum)
