what is movement
Movement is how living things move. Plants and other organisms move at a slower speed, compared to different animals such as a Cheetah that runs 60 mph.
what is respiration
Respiration is a process that occurs in cells to release energy that is stored in food. All living things need energy to live.
what is sensitivity and stimulus
All living things need sensitivity to survive; they need to sense their own environment and the things around them. A stimulus is any change in the environment that can trigger a response from an organism.
what is growth
All living things grow, which is when organisms make their cells bigger or you get more cells in your body which makes the organism change or grow bigger.
what is reproduction
Some living things can reproduce on their own such as bacteria. All living things reproduce to grow their species in quantity.
what is excretion
Excretion means getting rid of waste from chemical reactions in their organisms.
what is nutrition
Every living thing needs some sort of food or nutrition to survive. Plants can make their own food. This process is called photosynthesis.
