what is an microorganism
A living thing that is too small to see with the eye, and is considered to be “microscopic” (needs a microscope to see it). It could be a single cell (unicellular) or many cells working together (multicellular).
what is a structual adaptation
Physical characteristics of an organism that aids in their survival and reproduction.
When we are discussing the survival and reproduction of organisms, it would be anything that helps the organism to satisfy all of the characteristics of MRSGREN, with the addition of avoiding predators and living within the environment that it is in.
what is a behavioural adaptation
These are actions that an animal exhibits that aid in its survival.

Ecology is the study of interactions between living things and their environment and between different species of living things

what is a food chain
A model that shows how energy flows between living things
what is a system
Self contained collection of different things that works together as a whole

Why Are Plants Called Producers?
Because they can produce their own food through photosynthesis
Describe what decomposers do within a food chain?
Decomposers break down the food to make it in the soil
