What is MRSA ?
A
A type of staph. Aures bacteriathat is resistant to most beta lactam antibiotics and cephalosporins.
MRSA produces penicillin binding protein 2A which confers resistant to all beta lactam antibiotics.

How is MRSA spread ?
A
Usually spread through skin-to skin contact with someone who has MRSA infection or has living bacteria on their skin.
This can spread through contact with towels , sheets , clothes , dressings.
