She will not regret what she did.
“She was giving herself ridiculous airs”
She talks about presenting herself badly.
“My husband was lord mayor only two years ago and that he’s still a magistrate”
Trying to make her husband sound important.
“That - i consider - is a trifle impertinent, Inspector”
She is claiming the inspector
