Jaws strong, with a perfect, regular and complete scissor bite, i.e. Upper teeth closely overlapping the lower teeth and set square to the jaws. (3 breeds)
Golden Retriever, Curly, Lab
Jaws strong with a perfect, regular and complete scissor bite, i.e. Upper teeth closely overlapping the lower teeth and set square to the jaws. Teeth sound and strong.
Flat coated
Teeth : Well formed, white, with well developed canines.
Spanish Water Dog
Bite: Scissors is preferred, but a level bite is acceptable.
Disqualifications: Either undershot or overshot bites are to be disqualified.
Chesapeake
Jaws strong with almost straight branches and a relatively spacious mandibular body. Scissor or pincer bite with complete white and well developed
teeth. Slightly reverse scissors bite acceptable.
Lagotto
The correct bite is tight scissors, full dentition is required. Overshot by more than 3 mm (1/8 inch), undershot and wry mouth are highly undesirable.
Jaws, Are strong enough to carry a sizeable bird, and softness in mouth is essential.
