Any shade of gold or cream, neither red nor mahogany. A few white hairs on chest only, permissible.
Golden Retriever
Black or liver.
Curly
Black or liver only.
Flat coated
The only correct colours are wholly black, yellow or liver/chocolate.
Lab
Yellows range from light cream to red fox. Small white spot on chest permissible.
Lab
Solid : White, black and chestnut in their different shades.
Bicoloured : White and black or white and brown in their different shades.
Tricoloured subjects, and black and tan as well as hazelnut and tan dogs are not admitted.
Spanish Water Dog
The colour of the xxx must be as nearly that of its working surroundings as possible. Any colour of brown, sedge or deadgrass is acceptable, self-coloured xxx being preferred.
Chesapeake
One colour is not to be preferred over another. A white spot on the breast, belly, toes, or back of the feet (immediately above the large pad) is permissible, but the smaller the spot the better, solid coloured preferred. The colour of the coat and its texture must be given every consideration when judging on the bench or in the ring. Honourable scars are not to be penalized.
Chesapeake
Off-white solid colour, white with brown or orange patches, orange roan, brown roan, brown (in different shades) with or without white, orange with or without white. Some dogs have a brown to dark brown mask. Tan markings (in different shades) allowed.
Lagotto
Various shades of red or orange with lighter featherings and underside of tail, and usually at least one of the following white markings , tip of tail, feet (not exceeding beyond the pasterns), chest, and blaze. A dog of otherwise high quality is not to be penalised for lack of white. The pigment of the nose, lips and eye rims should match, and be fleshcoloured blending with coat, or be black.
