Elbow Knee Escape - Upright Mount
BASE: Shoulders back and elbows to the ground
POSTURE: Extend arm to centre Pelvis thumb down
CONNECTION: Shorten side
PRESSURE: Wave from posting foot, to hip, to shoulder to push on skinny X line.
Push them off, or allow for shrimp and regain guard
FOCUS: Shifting their weight Vs trying to escape
Elbow Knee Escape - Chest to Chest Mount
Sneak arm through between stomach
CONNECTION: Elbow connects to hip, lower arm relaxed
PRESSURE: Kinetic wave, foot, knee, hip, shoulder to elbow
Line is the skinny X
FOCUS: Shifting weight to one side
Elbow Knee Escape - Top person with Grapevines
Need to clear the feet and get one leg on the ground down the middle
Sweep from bottom - Top person Crosses Feet
Use foot up to bum and pin foot then drop knee out toward the Ground
Shorten Opposite side
Control Arm post and sweep
Upa
Control the arm:
- If setting for a choke grab at wrist and pull away from neck
- Other hand pulls there elbow into your body for connection
Catch the foot - ankle to butt and then drop knee out
Ear to opposite shoulder from roll
Look to 12 O’Clock
Bridge and roll toward 12 O’Clock
