Motor Supply Flashcards
What is the motor supply of the sciatic nerve?
Motor: semitendinosus, semimembranosus, biceps femoris and the hamstring part of
adductor magnus
What is the motor supply of tibial nerve?

Lateral branch: abductor pollicis brevis, flexor pollicis brevis, opponens pollicis (thenar eminence) & 1st lumbrical
Medial branch: 2nd lumbrical
What is the motor supply of the ulnar nerve?
Motor: flexor carpi ulnaris, medial part of flexor digitorum profundus
Superficial branch - palmaris brevis
Deep branch - abductor digiti minimi, flexor digiti minimi, opponens digiti
minimi (hypothenar muscles), medial 2 lumbricals, all the interossei, and adductor pollicis
