What is Motor neurones disease?

A

A degenerative loss of cells from the motor cortext, the anterior horn or cranial nerve nuclei which does not affect sensory neurones or the sphincter. Never affects eye movements

A

in >40s with loss of gait and aspiration pneumonitis. tongue fasiculations. No structural abnormailites are found on MRI
