What is the motor effect?

A

the idea that a current carrying a wire that is exposed to a magnetic field will experience a force due to the two magnetic fields interacting

A

for the force to be at its strongest the wire should meet the magnetic field perpendicular
if the current flowing through the wire is in the same direction as the magnetic field there will be no force
