Define Motiavation
is a desire that stimulates and steers behaviors
What is the difference between Intrinsic and Extrinsic
Intrinsic is self rewarding and Extrinsic is the need to get an external reward
Be able to explain a classical theocratic
a foundational understanding of the role of financial rewards and employee motivation. Essential for limitation of criticism
be able to explain contemporary theories
emphasize the importance of fairness, autonomy, goal setting, and motivating.
Be able to understand/ apply Moslow’s Hierarchy of needs
when people choose needs over other needs because of importance (ex. choosing to eat first before cleaning my room )
understand how motivation is experienced and culturally experienced hunger and eating?
primary motivation is do give energy and nutrients, learned cues like seeing someone eat more , people are motivated to eat how family/culture expects them too, and people might eat to make themselves happy.
