Goals must be stated in a away that is measurable
What are achievable goals
The person had to have access and o the training and the time to take part in it in order to met the goal

Must be possible to actually reach this goal and not expect improvements beyond what can be achieved in the time frames

There must be a set deadline or timescale on the goal, so you can review your success

The goal should be something the person really wants to achieve and have an impact on their sports performance, in order for them to be motivated
