Why do you want to join
A
- I am attracted to work in the ADF for a number of reasons; I see the career progression a career presents, the service I can give, all the skills I can learn, and the experiences that can help me grow as a person.
- Above all I find the lifestyle the most appealing factor, not being a regular 9-5 job, the mixture of a challenging physically active lifestyle and overcoming mental challenges that come with training and working in the ADF.
- My family also has a strong history of serving in the ADF

Why did i choose navy?
A
- I want to join the navy as I believe I will be driven and capable of learning and growing the most
- I feel it is a career I can excel in, contribute effectively and also realise my full potential. I enjoy working as part of a team andI also feel I will enjoy the discipline that is required when you join the Royal Navy.
-I also believe I will enjoy the lifestyle and challenges that are required to serve in the navy

What qualities do you have that make you suitable to join the navy
A
- I am a decisive, loyal, enthusiastic, hard working and proactive person who enjoys working as a part of a team. I understand and will respect the ADFs expectations, traditions, and core values

- Lack confidence sometimes
- I can be overly self-critical
- Nervousness about public speaking

Why did you choose CSO
A
- I chose the role of Weapons and Sensors Operator because it is very appealing to me. I like that it plays a vital role on the ship. The variety of duties that i will be required to undertake. Being able to work in a close-knit team to fulfil duties and the mateship and friends that can be created along the way. The potential to travel to different parts of the world and experience things you wouldn’t in a regular day job.
