What would happen that night
The angel of death would kill every first born (animal and human) except those of the Isrealites who painted the blood of a lamb on the doorframes. He would pass over them

what did the Israelites feel when they saw the Pharaoh chasing them
fear and wished they remained as slaves in Eygpt - they did not want to die
What did Moses tell them
to have courage and believe that God would fight for them
What did God instruct Moses to do
to raise out his staff and stretch out his hand over the sea to divide it - this would prove to the Egyptians that he was God.
What was put as a buffer between the Egyptians and Isrealites

What happened when moses stretched out his hand
all night the east wind blew and parted the waters, meaning that the egyptians could walk on dry land
what did the Egyptians do
they marched after them, toward the end of the night God. Towards he end of the night, God made the wheels of their chariots come off, which confused them.
What did this make the Egyptians realise
that God was with the Isrealites.
what did God order Moses to do close to the end
to stretch his hands over the water again, which he did at day break, drwoning all of the Pharaoh’s army.
What did the isrealites do after seeing this
that tey should put their trust into God and Moses his servant.
