A
- 10% of leaving fluid from capi.s is collected and returned to b. system by a series of tubes.
2
Q
What are lymphatics:
A
- Tiny, blind-ended vessels in almost all t. Contain tiny valves, allowing t.f. to flow in but not out.
- They take away t.f. between cells.

4
Q
Lymph nodes:
A
- Intervals alone lymph vessles.
- Helps with protecting against disease.
- Some w.b.c. removes bac. in nodes, others secrete a.b.’s.

Q
Product of dissociation is dissolved CO2:
A
- Hydrocarbonate ions (HCO3-)
- Initially found in c.p. of r.b.c. because enz. carbonic anhydrase is found here.
- Most of h.c. m.s diffuse out of r.b.c. into b.pl.
6
Q
How is CO formed?:
A
- Carbon monoxide (CO) is formed when a carbon containing compound burns incompletely.
- (H.g. unfortunately combine readily with CO.)
