• Jesus stated that is important to treat others how you wish to be treated. (‘Do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.’ Matthew 7.12)
• He also said that your behaviour to others is right and good if it brings them the same benefits that you would like to receive.

• Jesus explains that the reward for those who do good will be eternal life in God’s kingdom.
• On the other hand, those who fail to do good will receive eternal punishment.
• Jesus also explains that the way to heaven is not easy and requires moral discipline, a challenge that is hard to meet
