Acute localized:
ERYTHEMA MIGRANS @ tick bite,
Bulls eye, expands/fades < 1 mo
Lyme Dz presentation: Stage 2?
Subacute dissemination (wks - months post):
Flu sxs,
ASYMMETRICAL ARTHRITIS (large joints swell),
Multiple annular lesions,
Lasts days - wks
(P) hepatitis/meningitis

Chronic (yr-yrs post):
↑ ARTHRITIS
Lyme Dz diagnostics?
Positive by 4th wk:
EIA + Western blot
False + w/ syphilis, mono, SLE, RA
Lyme Dz tx?
if sxs amox or doxy 10-21 days
