Association of Student Delegates (ASD)

Each school may elect one delegate–called ASD. This person represents all the students in occupational therapy at the school and attends national meetings to make decisions about students in occupational therapy. A

Code of Ethics: making and implementing decisions according to fair processes that ensure “fair treatment”. Rules must be impartially followed and consistently applied to generate an unbiased decision.

A

Code of Ethics: Based on the virtues of truthfulness, candor, and honestly. Refers to comprehensive, accurate, and objective transmission of information and includes fostering the client’s understanding of such information.

A

Code of Ethics: refers to being faithful, which includes obligations of loyalty and the keeping of promises and commitments. Maintaining good-faith relationships between various services providers and recipients.
