A

Big data and data science take us from seeing and learning from the past and present to looking at the future. We typically work within the pyramid knowing about the possible dynamics in the business and try to discover parameters of a dynamic that we are aware of.

Unstructured Data

A

complex and possibly stored in a format that is not easily decoded. Examples of unstructured data include data stored in text or video format, comments on a web page, text messages, and videos of presentations.
Most of the data stored today are unstructured and include things such as text, blogs, clickstreams, tweets, and audio. This data is not organized in a way that allows for analysis.
