- avoid smoke/second hand and other pollutants
Decongestants
(pseudoephedrine)
- avoid in uncontrolled hypertension, glaucoma, enlarged prostate

- avoid dextromethorphan when using an MAOI inhibitor and caution with SSRI, tramadol (especially if high doses or multiple)
- avoid corticosteroids
- avoid albuterol unless bronchospasm
