A

A style guide is both a deliverable created by the UX team (in collaboration with the technology team) and a tool used by the entire project team for maintaining consistency in a flexible format.

A

What is a HI-FI Prototype?

A

Hi-fi prototypes cover not only the user interface (UI) of the product in terms of visuals and aesthetics but also the user experience (UX) aspects in terms of interactions, user flow (the path taken by a user on a site to complete a task) and behaviour.

When is the right time to use hi-fi prototypes?

A
  • When you have visual designs of your product
  • When you have done and tested every complex element, or task and you are ready to see how they work altogether, with interactivity, transitions, animations, and effects of them on the user and user behaviour.

Why is a Hi-Fi prototype used?

A

The main purpose of any prototypes including hi-fi interactive prototypes is to test their usability and have users validate it.

Why are images important?

A
  • People prefer images over text. Images, if they are meaningful and relevant, support rapid (diagonal) reading.
  • Images draw attention and trigger emotion. Don’t use photos as just a decor – let them speak to users, transfer a message.
