RED SIGNAL
Means bring your vehicle to a STOP and proceed only when it is safe
FLASHING RED SIGNAL
Indicates that the red signals is about to appear.
Yellow/ Amber Signal
Traffic light means slowdown and proceed with caution.
Flashing Yellow Light
Light Signal means you can proceed, provided you yield to predestrian and traffic lawfully using the Intersection.
Green signal
Traffic light means proceed with cautions and be prepared for pedestrians who might cross the streets.

Maintain a safe distance when following a vehicle.

Distance travelled from the time you start to activate the brakes until you bring the vehicle to a stop.

Two or Three Second Rule

Proactive Vehicle Maintenance
A procedure where a mechanic performs corrective measures or repairs based on the finding of preventive maintenance.
Corrective Maintenance
Differs with proactive maintenance in terms of scheduling of work or job to be done. Preventive is the replacements of identified parts as a result of inspection to avoide breakdowns while proactive is to perform measures.
Preventive Maintenance
An assault provoked by an incident that occured on a roadway where there is an aggresive driver and a victim.
Road Rage
Is the practice of using driving techniques to minimize risk and help avoid road crash.
Defensive Driving
States that a person who has the last chance or opportunity of avoiding a road crash, despite the negligent acts of his opponents is considered in law solely responsible for the consequences of the road crash.
The Doctrine of Last Clear Chance
Refers to any temporary structures, road construction materials, scrap materials, even trees and bushes that may cause road crash.
Hazards
Structures along the roadway that may restrict your vision in areas such as curves, hills and hidden driveways.
Fixed Hazards
Hazards that may change through the day such as school zones, market areas, and other commercial districts.
