Q

How do you resolve a force e.g. force, F

A

You would have to resolve the force into a horizontal and vertical component and they would be acting at right angles to each other - the forces would be called Fh and Fv

Q

How could you use a scale drawing to show that three coplanar forces are producing no net force ?

A

You draw the forces in a triangle with f2 after f1 and f3 after f2
then write that f1 + f2 + f3 = 0
