Module 2: Knowing Yourself Flashcards
Why is it important to know yourself?
- make better choices in life, both professionally and in private. If you do not know what your abilities are, nor what you want and don’t want, you risk making wrong choices.
- have better relations and maintain them. Good relations are built on showing each other your ‘true self’. If you do not know who you are and what you want, this could become difficult. You could then tend to not fully show yourself, or portray yourself incorrectly. This will not be beneficial to your relationships.
- know and define your own boundaries. Setting your own boundaries and saying “no” once in a while is not easy. The better you know what you want, the easier this will get.
