List two ways the skin is weakened.
Too much moisture on the skin

Define inflammation.
The body reacts to increase blood flow (redness) and sends specialized kinds of cells to protect the area.
Define Granulation.
New tissue starts to grow to replace damaged tissue
Define Epithelialization.
The skin grows back to cover the open wound. The skin must be kept moist while the skin around the wound should be dry.
What do the kidneys do?
Produce urine by filtering blood
What are ureters?
They’re tubes that carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder
What does a urinary bladder do?
Holds urine until it is expelled
What does a urethra do?
Tube that Carrie’s urine from the bladder to the outside of the body
