Objective and definition of CSI
The process of recognizing, searching, collecting, preserving, and documenting physical evidence at the Crime Scene.
Covers the process of identifying and interviewing witness and/or victims at the Crime Scene, including on the spot arrest of the suspected offenders.
What are the two primary purposes of Crime Scene Investigation?
- To establish what happened.
- To identify the responsible person/s
