Q

What is overconfidence?

A

is when we tend to be more confident than correct. This often drives us to quick thinking. Already knowing the answer tends to make us more confident. It when we overestimate the accuracy of current knowledge. Betrays common sense.

Q

What is Perceiving Order In Random Events?

A

Random sequences often don’t look random. In actual random sequences, Patterns and streaks (repeating digits) occur more often then people expect, this makes it hard to generate random like sequences. We as humans are naturally programmed to look for patterns.
