We cannot “give” recovery to anyone, or even “instill” hope and recovery. What we can do is support people to find their own way in their recovery by walking with them, sharing our stories, listening carefully to people’s perspectives and for their strengths.

Your job as a CPC is not to “recover people,” rather, to support people to find their own inner wisdom.
