an individuals perceptions of their position in life relative to their culture/ value systems in which they live. It is a broad range concept affected in a complex way by the persons: - PHYSICAL HEALTH -PSYCHOLOGICAL state - INDEPENDENCE level -SOCIAL relationships - SOMATIC sensation (pain) -and their life SATISFACTION
