Is there a difference in icing time between males and females?

A

Hair on males acts as a barrier/insulator and thus takes longer to cool the tissue.

Q

How does cold affect BP and why?

A

Cold/icing tends to increase blood pressure due to vasoconstriction of the tissue. Because this is localized with icing blood pressure changes may be insignificant.
