1.house of reps, Senate, and congress
2. house of reps- 435 members, must be 25, 2 year term
Senate- 2 per state, must be 30, live in the state they represent, u.s. citizen for 9 years, and serve 6 year terms

- President, Vice President, and cabinet
- The president must be 35, living in the u.s. for 14 years, born in u.s., can serve 2 4 year terms

Judicial who makes it up and what are the requirements
- supreme court
- have to have been a lawyer and judge, serve for life or till retirement

-interpret constitution and other laws
-review lower court decisions
-review weather or not something is constitutional (Judicial review)

how do citizens influence gov.
-write letters to congressmen
-interest groups: people w/ similar interests in certain issues
-political impact groups: groups that collect money for candidates who support certain issues
