Doctrine
A term referring in general to what the church believes and teaches, and specifically to summary statements of scriptural teaching on a particular topic.
Inerrancy
The belief that the Bible is free from falsehood or mistake.
Infallibility
The belief that the Bible never fails to tell the truth and is therefore reliable in all matters it addresses.
Inspiration
The belief that God enabled the biblical authors to write what he intended
Co-authorship
The assertion that both the Old and New Testaments were produced collaboratively by both divine and human agents.
Non-competitive
The belief that God’s transcendence makes available the possibility that both God and humans can both be active agents simultaneously.
Hermeneutic
The theory and methods of interpreting texts
