PRM Breakout Manoeuvre

Answer 3

1. Disconnect autopilot and immediately turn to breakout heading
2. PM - F/Ds OFF
3. PM - Set breakout heading in MCP HDG window
4. PM - Set breakout altitude in MCP ALT window
5. PM - Acknowledge ATC
6. PM - Select PM’s F/D ON
7. PM - Select HDG SEL and V/S or LVL CHG
8. PM - When selected modes verified on PM’s F/D - select PF’s F/D ON
9. After established on breakout heading
10. Re-engage autopilot
11. Call for gear and flap retraction
