When you are clearing Inheritance explain the difference between copy and remove?

A

Copy will recurse the child objects and write the NTFS permissions from the parent folder. Remove–removes all the permissions including the default NTFS permissions, like Admins, Users, Creator Owner, System–this could lead to serious problems.

When you enter a network resource through a share, the share permissions dictate what you can do through the share aw a whole. The NTFS permissions dictate what you can do to a specific file or folder.

A

Copy Create (CC)-Copy creates the permissions of the destination container and applies to your copied object placed within the container.

Move Maintain (MM)- Moving maintains the permissions of the parent folder.

Explain the difference between Persistent and Stateless

A

Persistent–Everything that the user needs is on their VDI and personalized to them.

Stateless- Single image (sometimes refered to as a golden image or thin client) on VM fits all. A general purpose machine in a conference room verse a specialized image on someone’s desk.
