When out of stall (no longer stall indications) :

If in clean configuration and below 20 000 ft :

Note:
If a risk of ground contact exists, once clearly out of stall (no longer stall indications), establish smoothly a positive climb gradient.

Above THRUST RED ALT and Below FL 100 - 10° / CLB

5. Flaps…. PF…. If CONF 0/1/2/3 - Maintain Current CONF
If CONF FULL - Select CONF3 and Maintain
6. Speedbrakes…. PF…. Check Retracted

When Level and safe, go into tables to check configs and speeds.

  • During night or IMC:

    6. Config…. Maintain until clear of obstacle
  • During daylight and VMC, with terrain and obstacles clearly in sight:
    1. Flight Path…. Adjust

“SINK RATE”

  • Above 1 000 ft AAL in IMC or above 500 ft AAL in VMC:
    1. Flight Path…. Adjust
  • Below 1 000 ft AAL in IMC or below 500 ft AAL in VMC:
    1. Go-Around…. Consider

“DON’T SINK”

  1. Flight Path…. Adjust

“TOO LOW GEAR”

“GLIDE SLOPE”

Windshear - Reactive

A

Takeoff:
- If before V1
1. Rejection Take-Off

  • If after V1:
    1. Thrust Levers…. TOGA
    2. Reaching VR…. Rotate
    3. SRS Orders…. Follow
    (If necessary, the flight crew may pull the sidestick fully back)
  • Airborne - initial climb or landing:
    1. Thrust Levers…. TOGA
    2. AP…. Keep On (if engaged)
    3. SRS Orders…. Follow
    (If necessary, the flight crew may pull the sidestick fully back)
    4. Config…. Do not Change until out of Windshear
  • When out of Windshear, smoothly recover to normal Climb

Windshear - Predictive

A

“WINDSHEAR AHEAD, WINDSHEAR AHEAD”

  • Before takeoff:
    1. Delay takeoff, or select the most favorable runway.
  • During takeoff run:
    1. Reject takeoff.
  • When airborne:
    1. Thrust Levers…. PF…. TOGA
    2. AP…. PF…. Keep On (if engaged)
    3. SRS Orders…. PF…. Follow (If necessary, the flight crew may pull the sidestick fully back)
    4. Config…. PF…. Can be changed before entering windshear.
  • Landing
    “GO AROUND, WINDSHEAR AHEAD”
    1. Go Around…. PF…. Perform
    2. AP…. PF…. Keep On (if engaged)

Note:
The autopilot disengages, if the angle of attack value goes above alpha prot.
If the FD bars are not displayed, move toward an initial pitch attitude of 17.5 °. Then, if necessary to prevent a loss of altitude, increase the pitch attitude.
