A

suggests confidence, certainty and confidence
- degree of commitment by minority group is greater
- may persuade majority- take them seriously and convert

- maintain over time

A

Mugny 1982- flexibility is most effective than rigid arguments
- negotiate their position
- cant be seen as too flexible , can seem inconsistent
- degree of flexibility is good
