What are apthous ulcers?
A
Painful, defined, round, shllow mouth ulcers, often recurrent from childhood, may be caused by trauma- take 2 weeks to heal

What advice would you give a parent who’s child has nappy rash?
A
Change nappies as soon as possible, dry gently after bathing, no talc/soap/lotions

What may indicate nappy rash is actually an infection?
A
> 1 week, persistently bright red, moist rash with white/red pimples

What is plantar fasciitis?
A
The plantar ligament that supports arch of the foot becomes inflamed and irritated leading to pain and stiffness

How is plantar fasciitis managed?
A
Keep foot raised, rested and iced, gentle stretches, paracetamol (not ibuprofen)
