In non displaced or minimally displaced # with no comminution..

What’s the problem with using ONLY 1 MINIPLATE for # condyle?
A
There is displacement of the consular fragment due to pull of lat ptery…
And also the functional forces acting on the proximal segment exceed the rigidity of ONE miniplate… leading to plate failure and screw loosening….
Hence … 2 miniplates should be applied….
1 at the post border and 1 at the ant border…
