What were the overarching causes of World War 1?
International tension and entangling alliances dragged nations into conflicts that didn’t directly involve them
How did American business and political interest lead to U.S. support of the Allied Powers?
- The U.S. had stronger trade realtions with the Allied Powers than the Central Powers
- The Allied Powers owned billions of dollars to U.S. banks, tying the American economy to an Allied victory
