How to reduce dissonance

A
  1. Change of of the dissonant attitudes (belief, behaviour, feeling). Belief usually easier than behaviour.
  2. Add consonant cogition. Justify behaviour.
  3. Reduce the importance of dissonant/increase importance of consonant.
