by rotating molecules with dipoles
What are the extra features on a microwave?
variable power output, cooking time calculation, combination ovens, and variable power
What are advantages of microwaves?
speed, reheating precooked foods and defrosting, less nutrient loss when cooking veggies, and energy conservation
What are limitations of microwaves?
