What is Compliance Manager used for?
Provides a compliance score which allows you to work to improve this score in relation to data protection and regulations.
What is sensitive Info Types?
Specifies specific information types to monitor such as a driver license or credit card and prevent users from accidentally sharing this information.

This relates to records management and retention

This relates to using sensitivity labels to protect data
What is insider Risk Management?
It uses AI to detect trends and detect activities that are risky within M365. For example it will help you identify users that are performing activities that are not compliant. This almost impossible to detect manually in a large organisation.
What is Content Search in relation to Compliance?
It is used to search for content in emails and documents and even conversations.
What is Conditional Access used for?
This provides access to users to resources but the user will need to perform additional steps in order to gain that access. For example a global admin would need to perform MFA authentication in order to gain access. Remember that it can also monitor IP addresses to for users that may be in the UK then next their in another country.
What is Microsoft Defender?
The purpose of Microsoft Defender is to protect organisations from attacks
What is Microsoft Intune?
It allows organisations to control mobile devices for example wipe a device if it is stolen and prevent users from sending emails outside the organisation. There are a number of features available.
