Use a light microscope to investigate a selection of plant and animal cells.

method
A
- 1) use the pipette to put one drop of water on the microscope slide
- 2) separate one of the thin layers of the onion and make sure its flat on the slide
- 3) peel off layer of epidermal tissue and use forceps to put it on the drop of water
- 4) put 2 drops of iodine solution onto the onion tissue
- 5) place coverslip on the slide and put the slide on microscope stage
- 6) turn the nosepiece to the lowest power objective lens
- 7) look into the eyepiece and turn the fine
adjustment knob until the image comes into focus.
