trichrome. collagen is bluish green

reticular fibers are black/brown

elastic fibers are brown
Periodic Acid-Schiff
carbohydrates are magenta
Best’s Carmine
glycogen is crimson
Osmium Tetroxide
unsaturated lipids are black
Sudan Black B
lipids are gray/black
